The Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de Castelló (EASD) is a center for public education of plastic arts and design and it is part of the Instituto Superior de Enseñanzas Artísticas de la Comunidad Valenciana (ISEACV) that depends on the Generalitat Valenciana.
Founded in 1984, it currently shares the building with the Conservatory of Music, in the place occupied by the Dominican Convent of Castellón, which preserves its beautiful Renaissance cloister, giving access to the building and connecting Fadrell Square with the Contemporary Art Space of Castelló.

The school has obtained the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and is a member of Cumulus (International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media). It also belongs to the Confederation of Art Schools (CEA) and the Spanish Association of Higher Centers for Artistic Teaching (ACESEA).
