V INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF DESIGN AT EASD CASTELLÓ
From 11 to 15 November 2024
The V International Week of the EASD Castellón took place from 11 to 15 November 2024 and brought together teachers from different international institutions. During the week interesting lectures and workshops were held on topics such as sustainable design and design thinking.
We were joined by Lili Zakaryan from the Armenian State Academy of Fine Arts, who spoke on sustainable design; Jakub Karpoluk from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Informatics, who explored traditional Japanese nō theatre and augmented reality; Ani Atsharyan from the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction, who presented design thinking with interactive exercises; and Tatevik Paytyan from the same university, who shared his insights on the structure and strategy of design education at NUACA Faculty of Design. Emir Klepo from Burch International University delved into experimental photography with his workshop ‘Photogram: Digital Alternative’.
The event concluded on Thursday with a concert by the group Ander Troys, after a week of cultural and educational exchange.
ERASMUS DAYS 2024
Celebrate Erasmus Days with us on Tuesday, October 15th
Throughout this week, we will celebrate the cultural and academic exchange that the Erasmus+ program offers us with two special activities:
Open Screen Printing Workshop: From 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in the screen printing room 1.1, students will be able to print on fabric the designs created by Erasmus students from this semester. You just need to bring a fabric item (t-shirt, apron, tote bag, etc.) and a desire to create!
Erasmus PechaKucha: From 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, in the Assembly Hall, Erasmus students and staff who participated in an exchange last year will present the countries and institutions where they stayed, in a dynamic and entertaining way. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about our international partnerships.

NIT DE L'ART
10 May 2024
One more year, EASD Castelló joins the actions of #LaNitdeArt in Castelló. From 18h until night, the school offered exhibitions, workshops, a student street market and a fashion show.
Erasmus students Susanne, Gabrielle, Sisian and Samir, paraded and participated with their creations on the fashion show. And Ana, from Portugal, had a stall at the street market.
La Nit de l’Art Castelló is organized by GVA Consortium of Museums of the Valencian Community, Castellón City Council, Castellón Provincial Council, Universitat Jaume I-UJI and Puerto Castellón.
OPEN DOOR DAYS
From 15 to 17 April 2024
In the last Open Door Days, the Erasmus department organized a stamping workshop. The Erasmus students prepared a stamp with some symbolic element of their country and then in the workshop the visiting students combined them when stamping. We were visited from the high schools Sos Baynat, Porcar, La Plana, Vicent Castell, IES Politècnic, Jaume I, Ribalta and Broch i Llop.

From 8 to 11 February the Week of Design at the school are held, which also have the presence of international speakers and teachers from the institutions with which we have Erasmus agreement.
The international conferences will be in the afternoon, at 17.30, also at the Museum of Fine Arts and will have an interpreter.
